Our professional truck drivers truly drive our business, and without them, Ruan would not exist. For this reason, we know it is critical to recognize our safest and most distinguished professional drivers each year.
Our Driver of the Year program was created eight years ago as an important way to recognize exemplary driving performance at the terminal, regional and national levels within our organization. Terminal-level nominations were submitted earlier this year, and we are pleased to announce the names of those 181 professional drivers who have earned the title of 2015 Driver of the Year Region Finalist.
In May, we will announce the names of 14 Region Finalists who were selected by their vice presidents of operations as Region Winners, who will travel to corporate headquarters in Des Moines, IA, in July for our annual Driver and Terminal of the Year events. Ruan’s senior leaders will select our 2015 Driver of the Year from this group of Region Winners, and the announcement will be made at a special ceremony at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates on July 20.
The entire Ruan team sincerely thanks all of our professional drivers for the hard work they do for this company every single day.
