Ruan is now hiring a full time Warehouse Team Leader at our distribution facility located in Rogers, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing team.   • Responsible for routine storekeeping duties, including receiving and unpacking inventory items, verifying quality and quantity, and referring decisions regarding no-conformance with specifications to higher level staff
  • Lead the receiving and shipping of units
  • Maintain a clean workspace and provide customer service 
  • Candidate will be responsible for setting day-to-day operational expectation for department overseeing 5-6 employees
  • Holding employees accountable to expectation and driving productivity throughout shift to meet target goals
  • They will align operational focus with Ruan's core values and culture, and report up through site leadership daily
  • Inspect and process paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy 
  • Manage a dock schedule and shift staffing as needed 
  • PIT equipment experience required (Order picker, standup counter-balance reach truck), and will be operating equipment on a daily basis.

General Application Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public; understand safety signs and signals; respond to official inquiries; and make entries on reports/records
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Passes training/orientation requirements including passing a certification test. If employed, must attend all training/safety meetings; failure to do so may be grounds for termination 
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Employment History

  • Work history for the past three years must be supplied by the applicant
  • All positions within the past 10 years must be listed
  • Inconsistencies in work history or incomplete applications will be reviewed and may disqualify the applicant for employment

Controlled Substance Testing

  • Must pass a pre-employment controlled substance test

Physical Requirements

  • May have the ability to perform all job functions including: lifting, bending, squatting, stepping, and sitting for extended periods of time

Criminal History

  • Criminal history may be reviewed and may be disqualifying depending on job relatedness
  • Any pending charges and less than “honorable” discharges from the military will be evaluated and reviewed
  • Other applicable state laws may limit consideration of offenses contained there in
